Had a wonderful early dinner with a group of friends here last week. We were seated in the outdoor patio area facing Biscayne Blvd but not visible to passerbys thanks to the vine fence that is so emblematic when you pass by this place. We came early enough for their happy hour (4 PM- 8 PM), where wines are $7 a glass and cocktails at $8, but we decided to go big and not go home and ended up splitting 2 bottles of white wine. They left our bottle in a cooler with ice, thankfully, so our wine was refreshingly crisp to the last drop.
All of the food was wonderful; we ordered several dishes and 2 pizzas and split them. We were all reaching for all of the plates so much that a quarter of a pizza was left over, which I hope my friend put to good use later when she took it home.
Beef tartare - Typically can be a hit or miss but this was well seasoned with lemon, fresh, I could eat the entire plate by myself.
Panzerotti - Mini calzones, sure, you can't go wrong, but they were not too thick doughed and were accompanied by rich tasting marinara.
Sole - A lovely transformation of hearts of palm into crispy, tasty little nests of delight. The pesto caught onto the nests and coated very well.
Polenta tartufata - A new way (and less messy) of eating polenta for me; oversized polenta fries, yes keep them coming. I don't need to tell you how amazing the truffle parmesan sauce was, you already know it is.
Pepperoni and Tartufo pizzas - Thin crust, right amount of sauce, clearly handmade, fresh out of the oven goodness. I especially loved the tartufo for its diced mushrooms and truffle oil topping, so fragrant!
Two of the dishes we ordered included truffle shavings, so the waitress brought an actual truffle and shaved it onto the dishes at the table! What a treat to smell the truffle fragrances right after shaving, and then to be able to eat so much of it!
Service was attentive, and our waitress was very accommodating when we asked for extra plates, silverware because we may have dropped a fork, another beer, etc. Such a lovely dining experience. I'm wanting to go back as I write this! -

Such a lovely little hidden gem in Miami! I've had the pleasure of dining here twice with family and have been beyond satisfied each time.
The food is made with such care. And the location truly feels like you are dining in someone's Italian home, making this experience feel so welcoming and warm. There's a huge variety of food. I'm a sucker for anything truffle so at Italian places I tend to skim around until I find a dish with that decadent earthy goodness. I opted for the ravioli, thinking it'd come in a smaller portion (I was wrong, it's plentiful) and delicious! I have to come back to try the Alba dish which was also calling my name. Everyone was very happy with their dish, varying from the lasagna to the salt baked branzino.
Swing by this charming little place when looking for authentic home Italian cooking. It has slowly becoming one of my fav little spots. 10/10 would recommend!!! -

Let's me start by saying WOW. I had a itch for some incredible authentic and savory pasta for a couple of days now and was dragged to a sports bar instead to see their poor selection of pasta options. I left unsatisfied and yearning for a great LUSCIOUS PASTA.
After YELPING my options for the perfect spot and looking at prices, this particular place caught my eye. Then I saw they had half off pasta on Monday's?! I'm in!
It's has an awesome outdoor patio and inside space with a/c. It's apparently truffle season and that also is my weakness. I ordered the ALBA pasta with a side of veggies (cause I had to throw that in there to not feel horrible) and WOW. I haven't sat and eaten slowly to absorb a meal like that in weeks. Good size portion. Good service (cute guy!!) The bread was yummy too. Plus.... whole meal cost me 14 BUCKS!!!!!!
I have now decided it is my new adult vibe, date and ladies wine nights spot. Especially on Mondays.
You gotta go if your yearning for pasta too. It's the ONE. -

Friday night date night, great location ; right on Biscayne Blvd. they have parking in the back of the restaurant which is rare for that area. I've wanting to try this restaurant out for a while but never had the chance. We were immediately seated and the server came to take our food order quickly. He gave his recommendations which was the pesto risotto and this pasta with clams( can't remember the name) . To my surprise the restaurant was relatively cheaper than I expected. We ordered a bottle of wine for $32 bomb price. Everyone was so nice, brought us extra bread and even put extra with our leftover food to take home. Definitely recommend this place.

I'm sorry, I love this place. It helps that I now live about .01 miles away lol but its so adorable!! Service is great, quick, and welcoming. I need to go more for HH to check out the live music I see when I'm walking the Doggo in the neighborhood.
Happy Hour EVERDAY?! Yup - that's killer Every Dang Day from 4 - 8PM so its really long AND the HH menu is phenomenal. Drinks, wine, and food. WIN WIN WIN
Check it out, parking is directly behind the location or on the side street, there's enough for everyone. I saw some patrons parking in Chase's lot (after business hours) and walking over but not sure I would ever recommend this in Southern Florida even if you can see your car (which you could).
The bread is delicious, the meats and cheeses are great, the salads are fresh, the presentation is great and the service is wonderful - this place has a winning combination and I hope they'll be around for a good while to come. They have a fairly large HH attendance (as I've seen when on my walks) so it should be a good time every time.
One complaint : The balsamic is sickly sweet. I'm unsure whether it is the taste of the particular brand they use or if its been married too much and has turned but I would bring my own to fully enjoy. (This may very well just be a simply taste preference, as I said: I'm not sure.)
